Pumpkins are the stars of the show, with about 40 million sold for carving and decorating. Talk about pumpkin power! That gets me thinking about a side hustle re-selling pumpkins door to door…if they don’t sell just make some pie and sell that :)

For those of you social media marketers, I’d even argue there’s a ton of room for asking businesses to run a halloween social media promotion with tools like Gohighlevel. Charge a small fee, send an offer to their database and see the cash come in.

SIDE HUSTLE OF THE WEEK
Remote Mystery Shopping 🛍️ 💻

This week’s side hustle is becoming a remote mystery shopper. If you’re trying to add in some “buckaroonies” into your bank account while also doing things you love…this might be for you.

The Pro’s:

It’s flexible: A lot of these mystery shopping gigs allow you to choose when (and how much) you want to work which truly makes it a side hustle.

Money can be decent: Although it’s not exactly a fortune, each task can pay you $10 to $50 or more…and the fact that it’s all online makes it that much better!

Can be outsourced: Depending on restrictions (I’d recommend reading the fineprint), you may be able to hire $2 to $3 and hour virtual assistants overseas to do these tasks for you. Now that is true passive income!

The Con’s:

It won’t exactly feed your family: It’s nice and can complement your main income, but we wouldn’t recommend going all in on it.

Not all tasks are paid: Some compensate differently. For instance, you might get an affiliate payout for something or get reimbursed for a purchase. Sometimes, these unpaid tasks can grow into paid gigs as you build trust.

Payouts aren’t instant: It may take some time for the cheques to actually come in. Being patient is key here.

How To Get Started:

Research Phase: Go to google and search up reputable mystery shopping companies. Two of them are Market force or BestMark.

Create An Account: Go ahead and make a profile with these companies. Be sure to include interests and information.

Pick Tasks: Review assignments and choose what interests you.

Start Shopping Online: Evaluate the experiences online, make purchases if needed and most importantly provide feedback.

Get Paid & Do More: Wait for the earnings to hit your account and do more.
