Short Or Long Form Contentā¦Which One Should I Focus On? š¤Æ
In the past year, weāve seen online content creators and influencers absolutely CRUSH it in business due to their personal brands. From Iman Gadzhi to Andrew Tate, Weāre going to be focusing on just that.
Hereās what weāll promise: Weāre not going to blabber on for hours about whatās best and what isnāt. We'll give you a quick breakdown and give you the verdict ASAP.

Letās begin with long form content:
This is where your most loyal subscribers come from who will pay, stay and refer. Whether you make your money from affiliate promotions or sell your own productsā¦Long form is definitely king.
By studying the meteoric rise of Iman Gadzhi over the past few years, we can see why heāll hit 100ās of millions in net worth over the coming years. Furthermore, Alex Hormozi quotes that he is also ādoubling down on content and spending multiple 6 figures a monthā. Word is that heās getting a studio in Nevada and moving his media team in house.
Speaks volumes right?
The long form content strategy that weāve seen works best is to go after the opportunity seekers (ie: the biggest market). This is a direct excerpt from Darrel Eves, basically the king of growing youtube channels. Also keep it at a grade 5 level or below.
Fun fact: Did you know that the average American reads at the 7th grade level? Itās basically a no brainer to go a bit on the safer side and only publish content in a grade 5 level or below.
Now If youāre selling to a very sophisticated B2B audience, keep it entertaining. Weāll give you some examples of peeps who do this very wellā¦check out Eric Siu, Niel Patel, Alex Hormozi & The Hustle.
Now letās chat about short form:
Andrew Tate basically took over the entire world with short form content. His strategy? Setting up an affiliate network to promote clips from his long form content on Youtube. The real magic was his adversary viewpoints upon the status quo. Thereās a learning lesson in there for sure :)
Short form content also exploded Iman Gadzhiās brand and youtube channel. His strategy also resembled Andrew Tateās affiliate model. The way we see short form content is that it grows your personal brand and keeps you top of mind.
You should have a strategy for short form that ideally can be simplified into a framework. Nowā¦because we love you so much, weāre going to give you one framework for one of our social media strategy buckets right now below. If you like this and want more, show us some love and refer this newsletter.
Short form content strategy:
1. Brainstorm 100 Celebrities, Influencers & Athletes and their unique business successes from chatGPT. It should include a brief excerpt on each person and their story.
2. Feed each of these into postwise.ai to write a viral twitter thread. Post to twitter and get it promoted by a famous twitter page who retweets it.
3. Get each story and make a viral video script using Meedro.com.
4. Repurpose the same content into a short form piece of content with a face behind the camera (talking head style). Edit using proven editing styles backed by viral tiktok influencers/ pages. Ex: Our future, Devin Jatho etc.
4. Post on tiktok, Youtube shorts and IG Reels.
5. Optional: Recreate the same short form piece of content using the Adam voice from elleven labs and put it over a 3d abstract animation sequence.
Weāre literally testing this right now and seeing some results. This is just one of our buckets for short form content. Weāve got many more that weāll share in future weeks!
The verdict:
Long form is king when it comes to growing a genuine and engaged brand. Focusing on long form should be the utmost priority. Why? Have you ever seen someone who is only famous on short form also have a big youtube following? Rarely.
On the other hand howeverā¦you will always see people who are youtube famous have large, engaged followings on other platforms too.
Focus on mastering one platform which is Youtube. For shorts, just build a proven and scalable strategy that can be scaled and outsourced. Both are long term plays but youtube is definitely going to have the higher yield.
SIDE HUSTLE OF THE WEEK
Content Virality Specialist šļø š»
This weekās side hustle is becoming a Content Virality Specialist. If youāre into making short form content videos go viral ā¦this might be for you and will pay you handsomely. Real handsomely.

Pros:
Potential for High Earnings: Successful content virality specialists can earn a substantial income, especially if they are able to consistently create and promote viral content. Viral content often attracts a large audience, which can lead to increased ad revenue, affiliate sales, and brand partnerships. Anything that is quadratic or compounding in nature always trumps linear growth and companies will pay a lot for this.
Creativity and Fun: If you enjoy coming up with creative ideas and experimenting with different content formats, this side hustle can be a lot of fun. You'll have the opportunity to explore various types of content, such as videos, articles, memes, and more. Itās definately something that can be seen as more āfunā.
Flexible Work Schedule: As a side hustle, you have the flexibility to work on your own terms. You can choose when and how you work, making it suitable for those with other commitments like a full-time job or studies. Most companies only care about KPIās and wonāt be as stringent on hours. They just want results.
Cons:
Unpredictable Income: Virality is unpredictable, and not all content will go viral. You may spend a significant amount of time and effort on content that doesn't gain traction, leading to unpredictable income. This makes it difficult to rely on as a stable source of income.
Intense Competition: The internet is flooded with content, and standing out in a crowded space can be challenging. You'll face competition from both established creators and newcomers trying to go viral, making it tough to gain attention.
Constant Algorithm Changes: Social media platforms and search engines frequently update their algorithms, affecting the visibility of content. This means you'll need to adapt and stay updated with the latest trends and changes, which can be time-consuming.
How To Get Started (Our Reccomendation_:
Start A Personal Brand For Yourself⦠Make yourself viral first before anything else. This will make generating sales and cash easy because your prospective customer will just see it with their own eyes. A simple hack is to use viralfinder and tokaudit to see trending content which you can recreate with your own words. Itās not copyingā¦just market research :)
Start An Outreach Strategy: Send personalized loom videos in an email and social DM to prospective companies and businesses. Preferably, these businesses should be online coaches, consultants, agencies or tech companies.
Sell A Package + Performance Deal: Ideally you should sell a monthly retainer + performance deal which you can then get a performance based incentive from. This can be something like $2500/ month + 5% of tracked sales revenue. If you can bring the results, theyāll pay. You can even sell a consulting package thatās higher ticket and can be a 6-12 months upfront kind of deal.
Get Paid & Do More: Wait for the earnings to hit your account and do more. If you have a ton of clients, make a waitlist and raise your prices.
P.S This is something that weāre actually hiring for right now. Itās super in demandā¦trust me!
